Cloud Engineer (AWS) with Security Clearance

About the role

Gridiron IT Solutions is seeking a Principal Security Engineer with a security clearance to join their team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud Security and will be responsible for ensuring the security of the company's cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for AWS Cloud environments
• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability management for AWS Cloud services
• Collaborate with other security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies in AWS Cloud Security

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security
• Security clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully implementing security measures in AWS Cloud environments
• Experience with security tools such as AWS WAF, GuardDuty, X-Ray, etc.
• Experience with security architectures and design patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Skills

• AWS Certified Security Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
• AWS Certified Developer Associate
• Experience with security automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.
