About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
- Work alongside senior engineers to support cloud operations.
- Automate routine tasks.
- Help ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–4 years of experience in cloud computing or IT infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader certification.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
