About the role

This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS, Azure, frameworks, governance models, and cloud standards for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, multi/hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Guide engineering teams or supplement their skill sets as needed.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation using tools like Visio or Abacus.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize cloud solutions.

Requirements

• A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (Architect Professional or Architect Associate) is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with database technologies including Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN, and Database licensing.
• Knowledge of product architecture and roadmaps, including assessment and implementation.
• Skills in cloud networking, automation (Terraform, Ansible, API/CLI automation), SRE, DevOps, monitoring, observability, SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud architecture.
• Strong foundation in on-premises infrastructure, especially relevant for hybrid integrations and migration initiatives.
• Experience expanding Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, services, governance, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in OCI is mandatory.
• Experience with other cloud providers is a plus for multi-cloud initiatives.
