About the role
The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization. This includes selecting appropriate cloud platforms, configuring resources, and ensuring security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS SDKs, Azure CLI, or Google Cloud SDK.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and security to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design and management.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud-native applications and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of cloud governance and compliance processes.

Pay
Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually.
