About the role

Join a dynamic organization as a Cloud Architect supporting hybrid cloud solutions in New York, NY. This contract-to-hire role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud (OCI), with additional experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP beneficial. You'll collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to develop cloud standards, governance models, and multi-cloud strategies. The role involves guiding engineering teams, enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities, and ensuring hybrid infrastructure integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architectures
• Standardize governance frameworks
• Support migration initiatives

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including architecture, governance, and standards development
• 1–2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred)
• 4–6 years of experience in hybrid infrastructure architecture, cloud networking, and cloud DevOps/automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Strong understanding of cloud security, DR, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures
• Proficiency with cloud architecture documentation tools like Visio or Abacus
• Experience integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments
