Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop standards and best practices, collaborate with teams to meet business needs, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, stay updated on cloud technologies, and mentor junior staff.
• Perform cloud infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for optimization and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
• Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 11 years’ relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure, AWS, and Oracle OCI.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Azure and Oracle OCI services.
• Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
