About the Role

The Voya Investment Management Leveraged Credit Group, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, manages approximately $31 billion in assets, including U.S. and European broadly syndicated senior loans, U.S. public high yield, European high yield, middle market and special situation loans, and CLO mezzanine. The Group consists of 45 investment professionals and 33 dedicated support staff, with a specialized team structuring, analyzing, and managing collateralized loan obligations (CLO) housing almost $18.2 billion of the Group’s assets under management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to detailed CLO investor RFPs, inquiries, and data requests.
  • Create and update CLO datasets for marketing materials distributed to potential investors and third parties, including customized datasets for presentations.
  • Aggregate portfolio, performance, and market data, and update source data spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with the Group’s CLO compliance, finance, and risk teams on cash balances, monthly reports, and compliance results.
  • Provide administrative and technical assistance as needed.
  • Complete ad hoc reports and projects requested by CLO portfolio managers.
  • Contribute to building Voya’s agentic AI research and portfolio management platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical or quantitative discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience writing scripts/queries for data processing, extraction, and reporting is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Robust analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and interest in structured finance.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with the CLO Team.
  • Reliable, self-starter, highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a deadline-focused environment.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $79,000 - $110,500 USD. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (e.g., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on agreed-upon hours.
