Job Description
The Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) and Global Structured Finance (GSF) groups within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services provide trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services. The CLO Trust Reporting Analyst 2 is responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting trust indentures with regard to reporting requirements.
- Creating technical report specifications from indenture language.
- Setting up payment calculations in various in-house systems.
- Receiving, mapping, and reconciling periodic collateral data.
- Performing portfolio compliance tests on a selection of structured fixed income deals (trade testing).
- Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual payment and/or tax reports.
- Coordinating with operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made.
- Performing quality control reviews of reports, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
- Frequent interaction with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies.
Essential Functions

- As required, make tax elections, file for EIN’s, and track residual holder transfers.
- Perform portfolio compliance tests on a selection of structured fixed income deals (trade testing).
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual payment and/or tax reports.
- Cook with operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made.
- Perform quality control review of reports, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
- Frequent interaction with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Basic understanding of syndicated bank loans, fixed income securities, securitization, trading or mutual funds.
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet established deadlines in a dynamic working environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
