About the role

We're looking for a Clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. This position completes level-of-care assessments for new clients and works collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the client's treatment goals are being met.

Responsibilities

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments on incoming clients to determine appropriate level of care
  • Facilitate daily groups focused on substance use and mental health
  • Maintain open communication with all members of the treatment team
  • Provide individual counseling for all clients on your caseload
  • Facilitate family counseling sessions
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours
  • Participate in team meetings (daily) and individual and group supervision (weekly)
  • Report to the Clinical Director for all emergencies and/or concerns
  • Complete SUD and mental health treatment plans and reviews for all clients
  • Participate in the family program we offer for clients
  • Submit concurrent reviews to the Utilization Department based on a schedule

Requirements

  • Preferred: Bachelor's in human services or related field, Master's preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: LADC preferred, NH State license or license eligible within 12 months
  • Familiarity with substance use disorders and recovery models
  • Ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Basic computer skills and data entry
