Clinician LMSW or LMHC (Orange County)

About the role

The Preventive Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Clinician will utilize the FFT model with families who have adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18. The FFT Clinician will carry a caseload of at least 10 families. This position requires flexibility in hours to meet families when they are available.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model with assigned families
• Maintain a caseload of at least 10 families
• Provide services at times convenient for families, requiring flexible hours

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10am–6pm, with rotating on-call responsibilities. Weekends off.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
• New York State licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
• Experience working with adolescents and families in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based family therapy models, preferably Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, to accommodate family schedules
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency
• Experience working in community-based or preventive services
