Clinician in Training

The Role

We are seeking a full-time & center-based Clinician in Training to join our dynamic team. The position offers hands-on training and a supportive environment to help you grow as a Behavior Analyst.

Details

• Our centers are open Monday-Friday between 8am - 5pm.
• We primarily work with children aged 2-9 in a center-based setting.
• The Clinician in Training works under the guidance of an experienced BCBA mentor.
• The training timeline includes three phases:
• Phase 1: Shadowing and completing non-billable tasks.
• Phase 2: Assisting with probing programming targets, conducting assessments, and making programming changes.
• Phase 3: Running consults independently with mentor support.

Fun and Challenging Responsibilities

• Share a caseload with an experienced BA and assist with PS tasks.
• Create materials for learners on caseload after completing MRS training.
• Maintain and organize therapy materials for learners.
• Aid in CST for new hires and assist with BICs.
• Support ongoing integrity checks and training BTs.
• Complete monthly progress reports and assist with parent meetings.
• Participate in Spirit Weeks, Pajama Days, and other optional events.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with children and love learning.
• In the process of finishing supervision, waiting to take the BCBA exam, or newly certified and applying for licensure.
• Accrued supervision hours of 1650.
• Demonstrate Bierman's core values.
• Able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds) as needed.
