About the role

Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is a private non-profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, with seven locations throughout the city and in Waterbury. We partner with clients and the community to promote recovery from mental illness and substance use, treating more than 7,500 adults and children each year. CMHA is Connecticut’s first fully Joint Commission accredited Behavioral Health Home and is a SAMHSA Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This position is a full-time 1st shift Clinician II located at 255 Bank St, Waterbury, CT.

Responsibilities

Serves as an active part of a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment and therapeutic services to adults, children and/or adolescents who present with a wide range of significant behavioral health needs. Treatment is aimed at assisting individuals and/or families by helping them develop the skills necessary to improve their quality of life.

Pay

The salary range for this position starts at $68,500 per year. Sign‑on bonus: $7,000 ($3,500 after 6 months, and $3,500 after 1 year). Compensation is determined by years of relevant experience, education, skills, internal pay equity, and the benefits and paid‑time‑off package.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
