Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Lecturer, Instructor, or Assistant Professor for the Northwestern University Prosthetics and Orthotics Center (NUPOC).

About the role

Responsibilities include lecturing, demonstrating clinical methods, supervising student management and fitting of patient models, and creating selected presentations for the Master’s in Prosthetics-Orthotics (MPO) Program. Online teaching responsibilities within the Blended Learning curriculum are also required.

Requirements

  • ABC Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) or equivalent ISPO-recognized Category I PO credential
  • At least 5 years of clinical, teaching, and/or research experience in the field
  • Master’s degree or higher preferred; strong candidates without a master’s degree will be considered and, if selected, must earn the credential within a reasonable period consistent with teaching duties

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $100,000 – $155,000. The final pay offered will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, training, departmental budget, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
