About the role

You will provide in-home and community-based essential support to children and youth with behavioral and/or psychological health needs, some of whom may be at risk of being removed from their homes. Through counseling, supervision, and parent skill training, you will work closely with client families in collaboration with the treatment team, delivering services in home and community settings. This role allows for a high degree of independence and leadership, as you will serve as the team leader for each client’s treatment team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home and community-based essential support to children and youth with behavioral and/or psychological health needs.
  • Counsel, supervise, and train parents to improve family functioning.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assess and monitor client progress, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Lead the treatment team for each client, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Active or pursuing Mainelicensure as LCSW, LCPC, LMFTS, LMSW-cc, LCPCc, or LMFTc.
