Clinician - Cardiac ICU

About the Role

Delivers nursing care to patients under general supervision and according to established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Collaborates with the manager in unit operations, exercising independent judgement and advanced clinical skills. Plans and implements nursing care, documents nursing assessments, identifies and reports situations requiring intervention, formulates and communicates goals and directed plan of care, and ensures patients' rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
• Collaborate with management in unit operations.
• Use independent judgement and advanced clinical skills in patient care.
• Plan and implement nursing care, document assessments, and report situations requiring intervention.
• Formulate and communicate goals and a directed plan of care.
• Ensure patients' rights are upheld.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN required.
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of Florida.
• One year of experience in a clinical area.
• ICU experience required.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay

Minimum starting salary: $37.50 per hour.

Work Location: TGH Main Campus (on-site, not eligible for remote work).
