About the role

Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person case coverage
  • Ensures product/s and ancillary components are available for each case.
  • Completes and processes all procedure related paperwork as required.
  • Tracks and reports all customer complaints.
  • Safeguards physicians and staff have the most current information available.
  • Manages a disposable inventory sufficient to cover assigned case load.
  • Bridges products (including Microwave and Cryoablation generators) to cases as required.
  • Trains and educates physicians and hospital staff on use of assigned VIS products.
  • Supports VIS products and procedures by assisting, training, and educating physicians, nurses, other hospital staff, and technicians on the use of our products.
  • Supports VIS Medical Affairs Team.
  • Collaborates with the VIS Medical Affairs Team.
  • Documents day to day interactions with physician customers.
  • Provides competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Clinical Background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse or Surgical Technician preferred.
  • Experience/Knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol and Sterile Technique.
  • Experience in supporting vascular procedures highly regarded.
  • Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded.
  • Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Analytical with an ability/desire to solve problems.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to lift approx. 150 pounds.

Qualifications

Candidate must live within close proximity or be willing to relocate to Kansas City. This is a field based "remote" position that requires onsite work at several local customer locations. This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $98,140 - $134,937 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This is a field based "remote" position that requires onsite work at several local customer locations.
