Clinical Track Faculty Position - Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Indianapolis Campus
About the Role
Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON), Indianapolis Campus, is seeking experienced Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner candidates for one full-time faculty position. Candidates must be experienced (3-5 years) as a practicing PMHNP.
Responsibilities
- Teaching clinical and didactic courses
- Contributing to IUSON's teaching and service missions
- Engaging in high-quality teaching
- Leveraging various teaching strategies to create learning spaces that prepare graduates to enter and lead in an increasingly complex world
- Participating in scholarly activities
- Participating in service at the school, campus, community, and professional levels
Basic Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure
- Either:
- NP with current unencumbered license or other authorization to practice, national board certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and recent clinical experience
- Clinical Nurse Specialist with documentation of degree, national certification as a PMH CNS, and recent clinical experience including prescribing
- Teaching experience required
Additional Qualifications
Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.
