Clinical Therapist (LSW or LPC)

Schedule

After school hours: 3:30 – 7:00 PM, 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient use of DSM-5 to provide diagnostic assessments for adults, teens, and children.
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy interventions.
  • Conduct client visits in the agency office, as well as in the community at local agencies, schools, facilities, and private homes.
  • Maintain complete and current clinical records regarding all persons served.
  • Consistently meet productivity goals.
  • Provide effective and efficient management of caseload, including regular review of case files to ensure on-going audit-ready status.
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of community resources to address client needs for sobriety, mental stability, food, clothing, housing, financial assistance, inpatient referrals, medical care, and safety.
  • Enter clinical documentation in the EHR system in the appropriate format and submit all documentation according to Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Perform job duties in a manner that is friendly, considerate, and aligned with the agency’s Mission, Vision, Patient Care Philosophy, Professional Standards, and Ethical Conduct.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field.
  • Active Ohio license to practice as a Social Worker/Counselor (LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC-S, PC, PCC, or PCC-S).
  • Two or more years of experience working with the behavioral health or Substance Use Disorder patient population.
  • Knowledge of multiple clinical modalities, theory and principles of human behavior, and social work theory and practice.
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and De-escalation Training within 90 days of starting the position.
  • Current and valid Ohio or Michigan driver’s license, a good driving record, adequate insurance, and willingness to use personal car to perform job duties.
  • Computer skills including Excel capabilities with ability to create reports.
  • Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable integrity, judgment, and professionalism.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Active Ohio Medicaid number.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing: Maintaining an upright position on the feet, especially for prolonged periods of time.
  • Pushing: Applying pressure and exerting force against an object to move it forward or away—up to 35 lbs.
  • Lifting: Raising an object from a lower to a higher position or moving it laterally—required to lift up to 50 lbs. independently; may require lifting over 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Stooping: Bending the body forward and down from the waist, hips, and knees, sometimes for prolonged periods.
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction away from the body.
  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
  • Ability to safely operate a personal motor vehicle on a weekly basis and comply with the Company’s Vehicle Safety Program.
