Clinical Technician

About the role

Axes Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Clinical Technician (Aide) for our St Peters East Clinic. This position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for students pursuing education in a medical-related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve clinic appearance through regular duties such as cleaning tables, equipment, assisting with laundry, and maintaining supplies.
• Enhance patient and client experience by providing concierge-like customer service.
• Facilitate and assist with patient interaction as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT).
• Support front office staff with answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments.
• Improve clinic operations by assisting PTs with digital technology and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Some college experience in a related healthcare field (preferred).
• Prior experience working within a physical therapy setting (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Demonstrated high level of initiative and reliability.
• Ability to move continuously throughout the day, including standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting, and frequently lifting objects over 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Documented history of working with people in a service industry (preferred).
