Clinical Technician 2 - Cardiac Telemetry Unit South
About the role
Inova Fairfax Hospital – Cardiac Telemetry Unit South is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. This schedule for this role will be Full-Time | Nights | 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
- Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
- Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Training
Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
- Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
- Virtual training modules
- Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
- On-unit shifts
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completed an acute care clinical rotations, and actively enrolled in a nursing program
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs
