Clinical Tech Lead - Emergency Department

Patient Care

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare providers.
• Affords assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and dressing patients.
• Maintains and records vital signs, input/output, and other relevant patient data.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.

Mentoring and Training

• Mentors and guides new and junior Clinical Technicians, providing on-the-job training and support.
• Conducts regular training sessions to update CTs on best practices, new techniques, and policy changes.
• Acts as a resource for CTs, addressing questions and concerns related to patient care.

Sustainability and Management

• Maintains inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock is maintained.
• Implements and promotes sustainable practices in the use of medical supplies to minimize waste.
• Collaborates with the supply chain and procurement departments to order and restock supplies as needed.
• Conducts regular audits of supply usage and develops strategies for efficient resource management.

Technology

• Supports equipment-label printers, plugging in Wow’s, and coordinating IT/Bio-med rounding.

Communication and Collaboration

• Communicates effectively with the nursing team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and progress.
• Reports any changes in patient condition or concerns to the appropriate medical staff promptly.
