Job Summary
The Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program provides short-term, staff-secure, safe, and structured crisis stabilization and treatment services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year (24/7/365) for adults ages 18 and older. CCS is a community-based program that serves as a clinically necessary, less-restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises clinicians, clinical interns, counselors, and peer support staff
- Creates the weekly milieu programming/schedule, ensuring that groups and activities are clinically relevant to the persons served
- Develops and supports the implementation of psychoeducational and therapeutic groups
- Leads clinical discussions in daily interdisciplinary rounds
- Be the lead coordinator between CCS and the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) Component and other key stakeholders and collateral contacts with CCS
- Holds a caseload and performs key clinical duties for their caseload including conducting comprehensive assessments, individual and group treatment, family meetings, treatment team meetings, providing direct clinical services, completing clinical documentation, conducting concurrent reviews with insurance companies, case management, and discharge planning, and providing clinical guidance and consultation to Milieu counselors, LPNs, and Certified Peer Specialists/Recovery Coaches
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical human services degree
- Independent Licensure (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary behavioral health setting, including mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring clients and treatment strategies
- Experience in an acute setting (e.g. CCS, inpatient, MCI/Crisis) strongly preferred

- Intermediate computer fluency including Microsoft Office
Pay and Schedule
- Pay Rate: $40.80/hour with independent licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT)
- Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
