Clinical Team Leader START

About the role

Under the administrative supervision of the Program Director, this leadership position provides clinical and performance supervision to select direct service staff, works closely with the licensed clinical director, and assists the Program Director with all areas of program development. This is an at-will management position responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and all phases of the management process within the assigned program.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual clinical supervision and guidance to team members, ensuring services are delivered to clients assigned to their caseloads.
• Provides prompt intervention in crisis situations, including notifying necessary persons and agencies for resolution.
• Provides on-the-spot counseling consistent with the program’s philosophy.
• Ensures the safety, health, and well-being of members.
• Completes assigned paperwork in a timely manner.
• Supervises subordinate staff to facilitate timely and appropriate service provision.
• Facilitates at least one group session per week.
• Provides support to other staff members as needed.
• Assists members in Mental Health Court.
• Facilitates team staff meetings and attends agency staff meetings unless excused by the Program Director.
• Monitors staff productivity of supervisees, ensuring timely completion of paperwork and adherence to agency/program productivity standards.
• Assists the Program Director with meeting staff training needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Valid registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
• Two (2) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/management experience.
• California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance/registration.
• Reliable means of transportation capable of passing a vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old (excluding two-wheeled transport).

Preferred Qualifications

• Full licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC verified with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
• Varied experience as a provider of mental health services.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (with on-call responsibilities).

Pay

$74,880.00 - $84,323.20 per year.
