About the role

Join Benevis as a Clinical Team Leader (Lead Dental Assistant) and support our mission to create happy, healthy smiles through high-quality, affordable dental care in a fun, compassionate environment. You’ll be the clinical leader at the office level, assisting the office manager with day-to-day functions and supporting doctors with clinical treatment. With 70% or more of our patients being kids, a love for working with children is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  • Assist professional dental staff with treatment regularly.
  • Support the Ortho Manager in optimizing office efficiency through teamwork, scheduling patients, and staffing ortho assistants effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining efficient Patient Flow and ensuring the office offers Same Day Care.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training new ortho assistants.
  • Uphold the office to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards.
  • Guide parents through treatment processes, educate them on oral hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions.
  • Ensure operational readiness of the clinical section of the office.
  • Maintain dental equipment, serve as the point of contact with supply representatives and service technicians, and order dental supplies while managing inventory.
  • Hold staff accountable to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • X-ray certification and other state- and position-specific certified dental assistant credentials.
