Key Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and high quality staff performance.
- Takes responsibility of the clinic in the Practice Manager's absence, in collaboration with the DON.
- Guides the team on a daily basis, by exemplifying positive, compassionate care for our patients and support to our staff.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service while interacting with providers, patients, and coworkers.
- Ensures adequate staff coverage for absences and assists in developing work assignments.
- Proactively develops a staffing plan and can adjust coverage daily based on practice needs.
- Provides direct clinical support to the providers as needed.
- Trains, mentors, and completes staff competency evaluations for both new and existing clinical staff.
- Assists in the supervision of clinical staff and provides input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
- Assists in coordinating inventory and ordering medical supplies, as required.
- Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH, and OSHA.

- Intermediate or better using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current active Nursing license or Medical Assistant certification required.
- 5+ experience in patient care in an outpatient setting required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Multilingual ability (especially Spanish or Marshallese) preferred.
