Clinical Support Specialist

Job Description

In this role, you’ll be a key part of helping clients access the services they need. You’ll handle referrals, schedule evaluations, support prescribers, and keep client records organized and compliant—while providing friendly, reliable support to both clients and staff.

Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

$17+/hour

What You'll Do

• Process all incoming referrals quickly and accurately, including verifying insurance eligibility
• Input and manage referral information within the electronic health record system
• Ensure referral information is transmitted promptly to the appropriate team or service
• Process payments related to record releases and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions
• Maintain a detailed tracking spreadsheet for all record requests in alignment with record-keeping protocols
• Support prescribers and clinical staff as needed
• Maintain client records throughout their lifecycle—from data entry and release of information to archiving
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients both in person and over the phone

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: At least one year in a medical, mental health, or professional office setting with customer service and data entry responsibilities
• Licenses/Certifications: None required
• Clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal Background Check, and Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion verification
