Clinical Support Specialist

About the role

This position supports local transportation services and coordination activities related to the program operation. It is grant-funded and involves providing various transportation coordination duties, including coordinating between providers and agencies, managing resources, and reporting on program performance.

Responsibilities

• Daily support for transportation services
• Monitoring all ride request referrals for appropriateness and eligibility
• Tracking service utilization and service data to report back to funding entities
• Working closely with the Mobility Manager to address transportation barriers and support needs
• Participating in quarterly transportation service meetings with internal and external partners
• Completing at least monthly service reports
• Tracking and submitting data for review
• Completing basic contact notes in the EHR related to transportation coordination, program billing, and service reports in Excel
• Answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner
• Ensuring individuals in services are connected with the correct staff person
• Operating general office equipment and providing clerical duties such as data entry, running reports, and using multiple agency software like SmartCare and Teams

Requirements

• Intermediate experience with Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Comfortable managing data
• Knowledge of the Bluebonnet Trails geographical service area, including all available transportation resources
• Texas Drivers License and approved driving status throughout employment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have knowledge of the Bluebonnet Trails geographical service area
• Must have Texas Drivers License and maintain approved driving status throughout employment

• Comfortable reviewing data and program information
• Ability to work with a variety of agencies and individuals

Benefits

Flexible schedule: 20 hours per week between Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. The person hired will work primarily from home once established.

Pay

Hourly Salary: $18.00
