About the role

Blue Cross is hiring Clinical Support Representatives to work alongside our clinical review team as part of the Utilization Management department. Responsibilities include verifying member benefits, provider networks, and prior approval requirements for authorization of services in a call‑center environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in the medical field as an office assistant, medical coder, or Licensed Nursing Assistant (preferred)
• Familiarity with medical terminology (helpful)

Pay

Starting pay at $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Work hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Six‑week paid in‑person training at the Berlin, Vermont office. After training, representatives work on‑site five days per week until proficiency is demonstrated; thereafter, employees within a 50‑mile radius are expected to come to the office on Wednesdays with the option to work remotely the rest of the week.
