The Foster Care Mental Health program utilizes evidenced-based, trauma-informed therapeutic models to provide mental health treatment to youth and adolescents enrolled in foster care. The position will function as a part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, case planners, medical staff and more, working together to support the health and wellbeing of children in our care.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and group supervision for the implementation of clinical services for up to 5 clinicians to ensure proper mental health model service delivery, monitor clinician performance, address areas of concern, provide clinical guidance and feedback, and promote clinical and professional development.
• Ensure clients in crisis receive the necessary support by providing clinical crisis support to clinicians and/or clients during hours of operation, after hours if needed, and participating in a weekend on-call rotational schedule.
• Be well-versed in safety protocols.
• Review clinician's paperwork, including but not limited to, intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with agency, model, and other governing body regulations.
• Work with AVP to grow the team and participate in interview, weigh-in on hiring decisions, and support onboarding of frontline staff and potential supervisees.
• Engage with and foster positive relationships (proactive communication, attending/coordinating meetings) with internal and external key stakeholders and key participants in client care to promote community integration and coordinate care for clients.
