About the role

The Clinical Supervisor RN PCU in McAllen is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff on the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PCU).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the PCU, ensuring patient care standards are met.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a critical care setting
• Experience in supervisory roles preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Proficiency in computer systems used for patient care documentation
