Clinical Supervisor Nursing

About the role

Acts on behalf of the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and hospital administrators in dealing with Nursing and operational issues by facilitating communication and problem‑solving and by providing guidance, direction, education, and support to the nursing employees while observing, assessing and evaluating the quality of care provided for patients. Primary Department: Nursing Administration, UHS Senior Living at Ideal.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication and problem‑solving between nursing staff and leadership.
• Provide guidance, direction, education, and support to nursing employees.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate the quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration) (preferred).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
