Clinical Supervisor, Med/Telemetry 4W and Cardiothoracic Unit 5W

Responsible for

• Assists Department Managers in supervising, planning, coordinating and evaluating patient care and employee performance.
• Serves as first line on-site support/resource for employees, physicians and patients.
• Supports staff with challenging issues.
• Serves as first line on-site support/resource for employees, physicians and patients.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required.

Experience/Training

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years of recent experience in the specific area of expertise or equivalent service area required.
• 5 years clinical experience with some demonstrated leadership experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Required: Current unrestricted CA Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Progressive Care Certified Nurse- Adult (PCCN) issued by American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) or Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Certification (MSRN) issued by Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB).

Skills

• Good managerial, communicative and organizational skills.
• Competency to utilize computer systems including Health Information System and Office applications at an intermediate level is expected.

Pay

The estimated base rate for this position is $132,136.00 - $201,514.00. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
