Overview
Department: Cardiac Telemetry
Schedule: Full Time - Days|7a-7p|3-12-hour shifts| rotating weekends and holidays
Facility: Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital | Free parking available
Location: 2222 W. Division St. Chicago, IL
Compensation Range: $36.75 to $55.70 hour

Responsibilities
- Signed on unit operations (Charge Nurse): Assign staff to patients, triage admissions, balance workloads, and lead interdisciplinary rounds.
- Signed on department operations (Clinical Supervisor): Schedule Management, coordinate onboarding, perform chart audits, and assist with hiring needs.
- Provided frontline leadership: Manage escalations, fill staffing gaps, and ensured continuity of care and operations.
- Assisted the Department Director in the daily operations of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff.
- Ensured the efficient functions of the department.
- Performed direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice.
- Continually assessed care and directed staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
- Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained.
- Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.
Pay Transparency
Compensation Estimate: $36.75 to $55.70. Exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
