CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (LABOR & DELIVERY) (PART TIME)
About the Facility
Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center® is a 336-bed facility that is part of the seven-hospital Valley Health System serving the Northwest Las Vegas community. The hospital provides a wide range of medical services and procedures, including comprehensive women's services such as digital mammography, gynecologic care, gynecologic surgery, maternity services (labor and delivery, recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery), and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Responsibilities
- Assume shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, care partners, and appropriate others.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members and direct nursing staff to achieve safe, optimal health care outcomes.
- Support activities that align with the facility’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Oversee and guide employees under your supervision.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times, with Patient Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN required (incumbents as of 3/1/2023 with 20+ years in the position are exempt).
- Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing.
- One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in physical assessment of cardiovascular patients and fluency in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Comfort with 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias.
- Knowledge and experience in stress testing preferred.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
