Clinical Supervisor - Infant Mental Health

Responsibilities

  • Engages individuals and families in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of stage of readiness and phase of treatment.
  • Sets and supervises the caseload of direct reports staff.
  • Supports staff as required to manage caseload efficiently.
  • Reviews cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services rendered.
  • Conducts staff meetings to review strengths, outcomes, problem areas and plan solutions.
  • Affords assistance in improving and updating professional skills by providing relevant information such as pertinent conferences and seminars, new techniques in the field, and current and pending legislation affecting mental health services.
  • Orients, trains, and develops new staff.
  • Maintains oversight of case records, including signatures, and ensures referrals to community agencies for an accurate history.
  • Maintains compliance with Medicaid & DCH, & Easterseals guidelines, policies, and procedures for all paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mental health or related field.
  • Experience in clinical supervision and caseload management.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid & DCH, & Easterseals guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of infant mental health.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload and supervise staff.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and record-keeping.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
