Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Department, Evenings

About the role

Piedmont Henry Emergency Department handles approximately 75,000-90,000 visits annually and is licensed for 59 beds. It operates with a 3/4:1 patient to RN ratio and is a Level III trauma center. The department specializes in triage and assessment of patient complaints, conducting medical screening exams, and developing treatment plans based on assessments. It also manages drug therapy and provides discharge education.

Responsibilities

• Continuous collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure consistent supervision of the staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• Required: Bachelors Degree
• Preferred: Previous supervisory experience
• Work Experience: 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
• Required: Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s)
• Preferred: Previous supervisory experience
• Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
