Clinical Coordinator – Emergency Department – Evening Position
About the Role
The Clinical Coordinator will manage day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput, guide and direct a team of care-givers, and take lead on clinical performance management.
Responsibilities
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience
- Manage day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
- Assume direct patient care if necessary
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
- Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
- Guide staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
- Takes lead on clinical performance management
Requirements
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred

Pay
$43.69 - $67.72 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule
Evening shift (3pm-3:30am) with rotating weekends
