Overview
William Rainey Harper College’s Dental Hygiene seeks a licensed dentist for a part-time clinical position. The Illinois Dental Practice Act mandates a dentist’s presence during student dental hygiene services. Responsibilities
- Assessment of patients' readiness for dental hygiene treatment
- Providing care to adult patients with moderate to advanced periodontal disease
- Administering or supervising students' performance in administering local anesthesia, including IAN, PSA, IO, MSA, ASA, GP, and NP
- Evaluating students' performance and competency in dentition chartings, sealant applications, study models, pain management procedures, and radiographic image captures and interpretation
