About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our brand new flagship building in our new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, right next to the historic Temple Meads train station. The Campus is the catalyst for further development within the Temple Quarter regeneration area – one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects and a historic moment for the city.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and organization of a team of cleaners
- Arrange cover for absences
- Facilitate the exigencies of the service
- Maintain acceptable standards of cleanliness
- Ensure all staff in the team are properly instructed and trained in the use of equipment and techniques required to provide a clean and safe environment
- Complete regular quality control checks as directed by the line managers and implement remedial action where necessary
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Experience in supervising a cleaning service
- Demonstrate confidence in leading a team
- Confident using computers and IT systems with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organizational skills, able to deal with and prioritize a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and cope under pressure
- Understanding of the operation of cleaning machinery
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive person
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work as a proactive team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines

Pay
Salary: £26,093 - £28,778 per annum pro rata
Schedule
Part time (16 hours)
Saturday and Sunday 09:00 - 18:00
