What You’ll Do
Leading and overseeing facility sanitation, pest management (IPM), chemical control, and food safety programs
Maintaining an everyday audit-ready facility compliant with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI standards
Providing QRO leadership and support for food safety and IPM programs at the Newton facility
Developing, maintaining, and executing the Master Sanitation Schedule and blow-down schedules
Directing sanitation team activities and establishing daily cleaning priorities
Tracking, analyzing, and reporting sanitation and departmental KPIs
Managing IPM contractors and ensuring certifications, training, and documentation are current
Overseeing fumigation and fogging activities to ensure safe and effective application
Selecting and managing sanitation chemicals, dispensing systems, equipment, and cost efficiency
Maintaining SOPs, OPLs, and sanitation documentation at point of use
Partnering with Plant Management and Quality to conduct food safety risk assessments and product containment
Participating in internal food safety audits and serving on HACCP and Food Safety Teams
Training employees on sanitation, pest management, and chemical handling procedures
Safely operating material handling and elevated work equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts)
Supervising QRO Leads and QRO Technicians across multiple sanitation and food safety crews
