Clinical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Affirms compliance with CARF and all relevant policies.
• Assists in surveys, inspections, and funding processes.
• Evaluates clinical needs and develops training programs.
• Supervises and facilitates clinical supervision for clinical teammates.
• Increases timeliness and completeness of clinical documentation.
• Presents material in seminars, individual and group counseling sessions.
• Supports professional staff in resolving treatment issues.
• Plans and oversees individual treatment programs and activities.
• Maintains staff effectiveness and provides supervision and guidance.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains positive relationships with medical professionals and other organizations.
• Assesses participant needs and ensures consistent, quality care.
• Communicates directly with leadership teammates and follows up on administrative decisions.
• Maintains caseload for census purposes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a recognized certification by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (CADC, LAADC, SUDCC, or CATC) or a license aligned with BBS qualifications.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and be insurable by the designated carrier if required to drive for company purposes.
• Must have the ability to travel up to 15% for meetings and conferences.
• Must maintain compliance with continuing education requirements as determined by regulatory bodies.
• Must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to evaluating patients, treatment planning, and counseling services.
• Must demonstrate competence with Microsoft computer programs.
