Position Summary
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction and leadership to all personnel.
- Assure timely, accurate and adequate recording keeping and monitor/evaluate records.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate all program activities.
- Monitor all treatment program admissions, authorizations, and discharges.
- Cookordinate services with community and health care agencies to provide a continuum of care.
- Respond to all program emergencies as necessary following all Harbor Light approved policies and procedures.
- Schedule and supervise clinical personnel as directed by the Site Administrator.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staff.
- Verify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely manner.
- Give recommendations on hiring and firing of all clinical personnel.
- Review admission and discharge satisfaction surveys.
- Represent The Harbor Light in community functions and committees as directed by the Site Administrator.
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the site in the absence of the Site Administrator.
- Conduct staff meetings, individual supervision, fidelity checks and clinical case conferences/case reviews.
- Participate in Detroit QI meetings, System-wide QI and Clinical Supervisor meetings.
Qualifications
- Two years of Clinical Supervisor or lead therapist experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years working in the field of substance abuse or mental health.
- Ability to lead and motivate.
- Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email.
- Appropriate MCBAP Clinical Supervisor Credentialing (CCS or CCS-DP) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Appropriate State License (LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, ACSW).
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVR.
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed.
