About the Role

The Housing Support Clinical Supervisor is an integral part of the Housing Support Program, which provides case management and psychosocial rehabilitation to assist individuals living in permanent subsidized housing. The role focuses on promoting ongoing housing stability, wellness, independence, recovery, and community integration for adults. Key responsibilities include:

Assistance with housing packets, leasing, and move-in processes
Support with housing voucher conversions, safety and wellness checks, and housing safety inspections
Development of Housing Stability Support Plans as an adjunct to individuals’ Individual Recovery Plans (IRP)
Early intervention to mitigate factors impacting housing stability (e.g., late rent payments, lease violations, tenant/landlord conflicts)
Education on tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities
Assistance with annual housing recertification, inspection, or voucher conversion processes

Housing stability is measured by ongoing housing retention, reduced hospitalizations/ER visits/incarcerations, decreased crisis episodes, and increased participation in maintaining personal housing stability and wellness. The role serves as the first point of contact for landlords/property owners and provides linkage to community resources, psychiatric/substance use/medical services, and crisis prevention/intervention.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and train Housing Support Program (HSP) staff in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager
Role model excellent customer service for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure high-quality documentation by staff in accordance with agency policy
Conduct weekly team meetings to monitor service delivery to clients
Recognize the need for crisis intervention and notify designated supervisor/clinical contact of escalated situations
Act as a stand-in for the program manager at meetings, trainings, conferences, and other events as needed
Meet regularly with the program manager to review service provision, supports, and staff performance
Approve staff Paid Time Off (PTO) and daily timesheets
Perform additional duties as assigned by the program manager or director

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., human services, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, sociology, or social work)
Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting providing case management, community support services, or similar
Combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree may be considered
Demonstrated leadership experience or increased responsibilities in current/previous employment
Proficient technology skills, including use of electronic medical records, telehealth systems, and mobile devices
Reliable transportation to and from work
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work positively in a team environment
Must pass an agency-sponsored defensive driving course and other required trainings
Pre-employment drug screening and successful completion of an FBI criminal history background check

Schedule

Community setting, Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:00 PM. May require evening, weekend, or adjusted hours for program and community events.
