Clinical Supervisor -$3,000 sign-on bonus

About the role

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of clinical staff in our Men's Residential Program and ensures overall quality clinical care of the populations we serve. Key responsibilities include supervising therapists, completing clinical documentation reviews, coordinating trainings, implementing policies, assisting with insurance authorizations, and participating in multidisciplinary review teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct supervisor to masters-level therapists both individually and in a group setting.
• Ensure clinical and administrative compliance and enhance the clinical skills of the team through individual and group supervision.
• Complete daily clinical documentation reviews, provide feedback, and document findings in the Electronic Health Record system (EHR).
• Coordinate and present administrative and clinical trainings to staff.
• Implement policies and procedures from VOAMASS, BSAS/DPH, and Managed Care Organizations to promote continuity of care.
• Aid in the development of program operations and procedures.
• Participate in the multidisciplinary review team to conduct utilization reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Attend state-wide collaborative meetings and other stakeholder meetings to discuss services within the program.
• Assist with the program on-call rotation.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• A current professional license in a field related to mental health counseling (LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts is preferred but candidates within 6 months of licensure are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of five years of experience in clinical settings as a therapist.
• Knowledge of milieu therapy, behavior modification in outpatient and/or residential settings; knowledge of substance abuse modalities, co-occurring disorders, and ability to manage personnel and other program resources.
