Clinical Study Manager

About the Role

What if your clinical trial expertise could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about healthcare research? We're looking for experienced Clinical Study Managers to help oversee the operational execution of clinical trials — and in doing so, provide the real-world domain knowledge that powers the next generation of AI models in healthcare.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned clinical operations professionals who want to stay at the forefront of both research and technology.

What You'll Do

• Manage clinical trial timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure studies stay on track and within scope
• Oversee study budgets, financial forecasting, and spend tracking across multiple vendors and research partners
• Cook up coordination with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams to ensure smooth, high-quality study execution
• Identify operational risks early, resolve issues proactively, and keep all stakeholders aligned throughout the trial lifecycle
• Apply your clinical expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated content related to clinical research workflows and methodology

Who You Are

• Experienced clinical trial professional with a strong track record in study project management
• Confident managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex multi-workstream timelines
• Skilled at coordinating across CROs, sites, sponsors, and internal teams simultaneously
• Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate and address operational challenges before they escalate
• Detail-oriented and organized — you keep complex studies moving without losing sight of the details

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI tools or clinical data platforms
• Background in regulatory affairs, clinical data management, or GCP compliance
