Clinical Study Manager

About the Role

What if your clinical trial expertise could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems understand healthcare and medical research? We're looking for experienced Clinical Study Managers to bring real-world operational rigor to AI projects that sit at the intersection of clinical science and cutting-edge technology.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll apply your clinical operations background to meaningful work — helping ensure AI models are trained on accurate, high-quality, and expertly evaluated clinical data.

What You'll Do

• Manage clinical trial timelines, milestones, and deliverables to keep complex projects on track
• Oversee study budgets, financial forecasting, and cost tracking across multiple vendors and partners
• Cook up coordination with CROs, research sites, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational execution
• Identify risks early, resolve operational issues, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout the trial lifecycle
• Apply your clinical expertise to evaluate and quality-check AI-generated content in healthcare and research contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in clinical trial project management, with a strong command of budgets, timelines, and vendor oversight
• Proven track record coordinating with CROs, external research partners, or multi-site study teams
• Skilled at managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously without losing quality or momentum
• Detail-oriented and systematic — you catch problems before they become crises
• Clear and effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally in distributed environments

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI tools or clinical data platforms
• Background in regulatory affairs, clinical data management, or medical writing
• Experience working in biotech, pharma, or academic research settings
