Clinical Specialist Representative

About the Role

The Clinical Specialist supports all Imaging, Navigation, Robotics products and affiliated services to hospitals within their aligned territory. This role requires knowledge of the operating room and the ability to work within a team to support selling and training activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can create value for both customers and the organization, and is a true collaborator capable of building meaningful relationships with capital and implant sales teams. The Clinical Specialist will ideally be based in Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Imaging, Navigation, Robotics products, applicable procedures, anatomy, and implant products.
• Provide educational support for new surgeons, OR staff, and administrators during INR installations and ongoing customer needs.
• Deliver comprehensive hands-on training to potential and existing customers through cadaver and bio-skill labs.
• Provide ongoing INR education to Globus Implant Peers prior to capital installation and beyond.
• Promote a successful team culture centered on excellence, results, integrity, and trust.
• Cultivate surgeon support and generate market awareness around INR products and affiliated services.
• Support the installation process to ensure consistent utilization within the initial 90 days.
• Collaborate with the implant team to identify both capital and implant targets to grow the overall Globus business.
• Assist with the development of key opinion leader surgeons.
• Manage expenses within budget.
• Adhere to the company Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations through training and knowledge maintenance.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold high standards of ethical business practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic achievement.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical support or relevant experience in the healthcare industry (spine experience is a plus).
• History of exceeding, not just meeting, expectations.
• Knowledge of the operating room environment.
• Ability to collaborate and influence.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting new and disruptive technologies in a market is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 70%.

Physical Demands

• Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus.
