Responsibilities
- Aid doctors in patient screening, case planning, and device selection.
- Resolve problem cases through troubleshooting.
- Offer technical support during clinical ASD and PFO closure cases.
- Develop and conduct in-house and field-based training programs for Gore associates.
- Provide simulation-based training to Interventional Cardiologists, Nurses, and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology Fellows.
- Offer hospital in-services to Interventional Cardiologists, Nurses, and Fellows.
- Help develop materials for doctor- and associate-training programs.
- Support emergent cases, including working nights and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in nursing, radiation technology, operating room, cath. lab, radiology/cardiology departments, or other medical device support roles.
- Ability to travel up to 90% per month, with the agility to adapt to frequent changes in travel schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of successfully adapting to changing product and project commitments.
- Availability to support emergent cases in your local market, including remaining “on call”.
- Valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to apply medical, surgical, and interventional skills and terminology.
- Ability to meet vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, relative to immunizations (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines).
