Clinical Specialist - Eugene, OR
About the role
The Clinical Specialist assists sales representatives in developing new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts. They provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation, and maintenance of Saluda Medical’s products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff
- Share superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products
- Train physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products
- Support and troubleshoot patient cases, including Operating Room/Procedure support
- Perform patient follow-up to ensure customer and patient success
- Communicate product, clinical, and market information to appropriate Saluda personnel
- Work with sales, marketing, and R&D personnel to support and develop product improvements
- Assure customer and patient success with the implanted products
- Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment
- 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices
- Operating room experience (preferred)
