Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the long term/skilled communities, assisted living and memory support communities in all states that Franciscan Ministries (FM) and Franciscan Advisory Services (FAS) operates. This independent position is responsible for all aspects of clinical services.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted reviews, mock surveys, and survey preparedness in communities to ensure communities are in compliance and prepared for regulatory visits
- Assist communities in achieving and maintaining key indicator benchmarks and quality
- Audit, train, and ensure adoption of the electronic health record system at communities
- Remain up to date on current professional standards of practice, laws, and regulations which may impact the communities
- Collaborate with all departments (clinical, operations, dining services, memory support) to ensure the best outcomes for the communities and Franciscan
Position Requirements
- Education: A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Licenses/Certifications: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in practicing state
- Experience: 5+ years of clinical leadership experience
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
- High degree of integrity
- Strong communicator and capable of leading change
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and deadlines concurrently
- Proficiency in electronic health records, Point Click Care experience preferred
